In this post you’ll learn how to make anyone, you want to, give up Internet Explorer! The solution is 67 bytes long. Who said that the 21st century isn’t bizzare?
First, I wanna thank Stuart Brown from modernlifeisrubbish.com for bringing out this great way to crash internet explorer.
The story behind this nifty little snippet goes like this:
The author (Stuart Brown) has been a JavaScript developer for a some years.
One day while he has been debugging a script in order to make it run both on Internet Explorer and Firefox he has written a script as part of the diagnostics.
The script has been using “document.write” method in order to output the text to the document.
While Firefox handled the code perfectly, Internet Explorer has given an exception and crashed.
The script is one line long and can be embedded into any page.
One year later the script has been giving the same effect.
The script has been embedded on a web page by Stuart, so that you can test it out!
Click here to obliterate your Internet Explorer.
Have fun but keep in mind it can render your system unstable and, for sure, crash any iexplore.exe process running on your machine.
p.s. you can send the link around to any IE users you know..
